Adaptive Planning will be presenting at IntegratioNEXT 2010, and has been nominated for the InnovatioNEXT award in the Best SaaS/Cloud Solution category.  I had the chance to  interview them at our last conference, Metamorphosis 2010, and ask them about their creative use of small-footprint agents to make that bridge across the firewall from a SaaS application to on-premise applications.

Adaptive Planning is a software company that provides a SaaS budgeting forecast and reporting solution. They needed fully automated, on-demand, secure, integration of financial data with a wide variety of ERP applications, from SAP, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards and Peoplesoft down to Quickbooks, as well as everything in the middle,  like MS Dynamics GP and SL, MAS 90/500, and generic sources like SQL Server and flat files. And most importantly, they needed it all to be accessible to their non-technical customers.  Check out the interview to see how they handled it.
