How an Embedded Integration Platform Helps Planview Compete with the Big Guys

I really enjoyed Planview’s presentation at Metamorphosis 2010 that discussed how using the Pervasive embedded integration platform helped Planview go up against some of its biggest competitors.

Below is a video interview with Louise K. Allen, VP of Product Management for Planview, where she talks about her presentation.

Here is an excerpt:
“We did a deep technology review of Pervasive and a couple other competitors. We looked at Cast Iron in great detail and did a deep, probably 3-4 months, technology review on both products…and Cast Iron just couldn’t stand up to Pervasive. It was really important we pick the right vendor and because we could embed the technology easily in our product and it gave us a platform to build on that was consistent across the globe, that was a big, big reason that we chose the technology.”
