I realized after Kevin posted his tech tip about optimal use of Pervasive Integration Hub with REST interfaces last week, that Integration Hub is a fairly unique product in the integration space. And, while things like Pervasive Data Integrator, and Data Profiler, and Data MatchMerge, are self-explanatory Integration Hub isn’t all that obvious as to what it does, and who would care.
We’re going to do an informational webinar with demo and discussion on Pervasive Integration Hub Wednesday, March 2 at 2:15 Central Time. (Register here http://ow.ly/43nW0 if you’re interested.)
The basics of iHub are simple, it handles integration patterns that involve managing hundreds of data feeds into a central processing data center, and it speeds up new data feed on-ramping as much as 50 to 80% by making that modular and reusable.
Now, I could write a post explaining in detail who out there has a use for something like that, and the technology that makes it work, etc. but I don’t need to. Mike Hoskins, our CTO, already answered that question for me a while back in front of a camera.
So, in Mike’s words, here’s what Integration Hub is all about:
